Now I have traveled internationally several times now and I have gotten the hang of what is useful and necessary for my trips.
Here I am providing you with a list of my 5 essentials that I always pack with me in my carry on for international travels. Keep in mind it is not everything I pack but these are the items I must have with me! I have another post on WHAT TO PACK IN YOUR CARRY ON FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL here!
UNDERWEAR: An extra pair or two of panties always comes in handy! You might have a very long layover or in my case, my bags weren’t flown on my flight and I had no clothing items! I was so glad to have spare undies with me. Quick swap out and I just freshened up my clothes with some perfume and was on my way! (Note: my suitcases arrived the next day. What a relief!)
2. Empty Reusable Bottle
EMPTY RESUABLE BOTTLE: For hot and cold drinks. Can be filled up during your layover to save you some money from buying a drink. Also great for landing at your final destination and filling it up with some fresh cold water.
PEN: Black pen. I cannot tell you how many times I needed a pen. Whether it was to fill out a customs declaration form or something in regards to my travel plans.
CHARGER: Some flights have a built-in usb and you can charge your phone during your flight (which is super convenient.) You don’t want a low battery upon arrival to your destination!
5. Accordion Folder
ACCORDION FOLDER: Now this should be a given but sometimes you might accidentally pack away your wallet, passport, or important documents (visa papers) that you need as soon as you land at your destination. I advise keeping everything in one place with easy access. Definitely want to make your transition as smooth as possible and avoid a possible nightmare!
I hope this list helps you towards your journey traveling internationally! Safe travels!
